There are three varieties in each bag: white, reddish orange, and green. These are ruffle style potato chips with ridges. The ingredients from the bag: Potato flour, expeller pressed safflower oil, salt, sugar, tumeric, tomato paste, spinach powder, and beetroot powder.
First, the flavor. Oh man, these are good! The orange-red chips are particularly flavorful. They have a little spice to them. I assume the base is tomato. The green chips are spinach and have a mild flavor. The lighter colored chips taste like a regular potato chip except without the oily aftertaste. They are seasoned with a hint of tumeric which adds to the deliciousness.
The texture is perfect. They are a light and crispy. They are crunchy without being thick or hard. I’d say it’s a cross between a cracker and a chip. I love the ridges. I can scoop up vegetables or yogurt with these chips.
A serving size is 21 chips. I thought that was quite a bit. In fact, I counted out 13 and that was plenty for lunch. But, I’m not a snacker. I won’t sit down with the bag and finish it off.
I bought a small bag to start with. I was disappointed that there were so few chips in a bag. I think I got two lunches out of it. I wanted more!
I’ve got folks out looking for Daily Crave at a local stores. So far, we haven’t had any luck. I can’t wait to have a big sized bag. I’d rather eat these than potato chips.
